The surrealist nature of this painting is fascinating. The oblong shapes which make up the face are extremely intriguing There is a myriad of colors all bringing about a very interesting tone. If you look closely, you can see the intricate shading which made this piece possible. This piece while seemingly lacks the defined jaw structure seen in other De Lemos paintings, is only but a faint line. The eyebrows and eyes give the feeling that they are looking deep into your soul.
