Frustrated Expectation

The surrealist nature of this painting is fascinating. The oblong shapes which make up the face are extremely intriguing There is a myriad of colors all bringing about a very interesting tone. If you look closely, you can see the intricate shading which made this piece possible. The bright sun yellows bring an interesting light to this piece. The left eye is much larger than the right and the iris while not missing has taken on a yellow shade which is very visually unique.
