My mother taught me the value of work

In this mixed surreal painting, a darker side is taken by artist De Lemos. The dark browns and greens are nicely contrasting each other just as the blues and reds do the same. The shading and shadows on this piece bring a whole new meaning to it and show the extreme detail that this artist can work with. Even the pink with its light airy feeling is brushed off by the encroaching darker colors on their way to envelop everything to the darkness.
