Reflexes

This young woman is looking over her left shoulder, her facial expression has been induced automatically due to some sort of stimulus in her life causing her to react without conscious thought. This original, acrylic painting is by Dominican Artist, Jimmy Verdecia. Mr. Verdeica uses a monochromatic pallet with hues of yellow green. The exception in color is some detail in the lady’s face, especially her reddish-brown lips, and her flesh toned arm.  He uses various textures which brings an extra point of interest to the viewer.
