The horse represents in this original painting by Dominican Artist, José Javier Contreras, as he appears to be galloping to his destination with purpose. Perfectly set against the solid, medium blue background, this brown horse’s instincts are taking charge and doing as he is designed by his creator. Mr. Contreras said, “the horse is considered the guardian of the traveler and represents freedom and balance”.
