The surrealist nature of this painting is fascinating. The oblong shapes which make up the face are extremely intriguing There is large collection of yellow shades all bringing about a very interesting tone. If you look closely, you can see the intricate shading which made this piece possible. The high arching brows and large puckering lips give much expression to the still face seen here.
