Original from the Dominican Republic, the term “la botella” represents the traditional medical knowledge of indigenous people (Tainos), from the abducted African slaves, from the Spanish traditional medicine and not least the influence of Voodoo. These two acrylic bottles on this paper may have different medicinal purposes.
